MQG Victoria October meeting and workshops - Trunk Show by Kathleen Riggins, Canadian Longarm Quilter

MQG Victoria is excited to announce that we will be hosting Kathleen Riggins, an extraordinary Canadian modern longarm quilter, for a trunk show at our October meeting, Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 7pm.
She is teaching TWO days of workshops for us on Friday Oct 21 and Saturday Oct. 22. Use a straight ruler and easy fills to create stunning modern quilting designs. There is still space available for the Saturday workshop! Details at the link.
Kathleen is from Camrose, Alberta and has been sewing and quilting all of her life.  She has been free-motion quilting for over a decade and long-arm quilting for several years.
Kathleen often teaches at Sparrow Studios in Edmonton and has just returned from teaching in Australia at the Australian Machine Quilting Festival and several other locations.  She will also be teaching longarm quilting at Quiltcon East in Savannah, Georgia in February 2017.  Luckily we get to see her first!!
If you do not know her work, you can check it out on her blog at  She is also on Instagram @kathleenquilts and is on Facebook as well.
We hope you can join us for Kathleen's trunk show or her workshop
